"Mickey" |
I first met Mickey when he was 8 weeks old. Being an active and curious pup, from an active litter, he got stuck just everywhere since he put his head in the most stupid places. Close to a year later I met him again and already then, 10 month old, he had matured into a nice young male with this very special expression he still has. The year after he achived his first title, CGC, with his owner/handler Eric (Imagineers). Mickey was not supposed to move anywhere from the beginning, but after some discussions with Gemi and Eric, luckily they decided to let him follow Tam to Sweden. |
Mickey has from very limited
showing gained his three certificates towards his SUCH:
"Lovely well balanced dog. Beautiful masculine head. Good ears, excellent shape of eyes. Beautiful neck, strong back, well shaped chest. Suitable bone to size. Sound legs and feet. Gorgeous ground covering, efficient movements. A dog that looks like he easily would manage a long day of work". BoB, BIG2. Stockholm 2000-05-27 Judge: P-E Wallin. |

Mickey started his tracking training when he left quarantine but we quickly realized that he is more of a search dog. In October 2002 he started in novice searching and now is allowed to trial on the next level (lower class). During 2004 we also started working him in reporting, something he think is great fun. Mickey's sire "Torey" is just like Mickey a red bi male but with one blue and one brown eye. Both Torey and Mickeys litter brother Murray (Imagineer's Red Storm Rising) have their STD titles. Mickey's dam Domino is a very skilled agility dog with several titles; NAJ, OA, RS-N, NAC (2 "legs" OAJ, 1 "leg" each RS-O, JS-N, GS-N) |
When Mickey was started on
sheep we could see that he had something that we
hadn't seen in our dogs before. Later on he was instinct tested with a nice
result. Now since we got our own sheep again and can work the dogs more frequently we
have realized that having a dog to help out while doing the daily chores are an
amazing help. And daily chores are what Mickey likes best. From limited trialing Mickey has achieved OTDs aswell as one leg STDd. |

Mickey's second litter (1+4) out of KORAD LPI LPII Mr Binks Barefoot Nelly was born 2001-02-02 and his third litter (5+5) with Fairoaks Amaretto was born 2002-26-01. Dogs from those litters, although still being young, has achieved titles and results in conformation, tracking, obedience and agility. |
